DeCrises to organise its first stakeholder workshop

On 19 May 2026, the DeCrises project will host Session 1 of its first stakeholder workshop. This session will share early insights from WP1, WP2, and WP3, and explore what these findings mean for the project’s four case studies: Green Region Vestland (Norway), Fingrid Datahub (Finland), the Municipality of Potęgowo (Poland), and the City of Riga (Latvia).

Organised as part of WP4, session 1 is designed as an open and informative starting point. It will help set a shared foundation for the next stages of the project, including interviews, focus groups, and more interactive and deliberative activities later on.

Later on, separate sessions for each case-study will be held — these will be organised as interactive and deliberative discussion sessions in the local language of each case study (Polish, Norwegian, Finnish, or Latvian).

You are invited to take part in one or both sessions, depending on your interests and relevance.

Session 1 (online): “Informing: Project context and early findings”

Session 1 will be held in English and is open to anyone curious about governance challenges and pathways in times of crisis. Whether you are directly involved in one of the case studies or simply interested in the topic, you are very welcome to join

This session aims to gather interest and inform the stakeholders about the DeCrises project, how the project is relevant to their case study and how their participation can help. We will discuss key insights from:

  • WP1: Legal and policy frameworks shaping multilevel governance.
  • WP2: Mapping of regional participation structures and key actor constellations.
  • WP3: Early findings from the policy analysis of the EU Green and Digital Strategies.

Case-study specific sessions

These sessions will be particularly relevant for stakeholders interested in or connected to the project’s case studies.
