On 6-8 May 2026, the University of Jyväskylä (JYU) will host the Wisdom Days conference.

Organised by the JYU School of Resource Wisdom (JYU.Wisdom) and the Sustainability Transformations Doctoral Education pilot (SusTra), this event will provide a stage for discussions on sustainability transformations and well-being for our planet.

Titled “Science for Sustainability Transformations”, this year’s edition will focus on themes including:

• transformations (understanding and advancing sustainability transitions);
• production/consumption systems and the economy;
• diversity in world and worldviews (biodiversity and multispecies relations);
• sustainable and planetary well-being;
• action, arts and agency (co-creating sustainability);
• nature-positive universities. 

The attendees will have the opportunity to participate in parallel sessions and workshops, join networking activities and listen to keynotes from international speakers.
