The second session of the DeCrises WP4 stakeholder workshop: Green Region Vestland, Norway

The DeCrises WP4 stakeholder workshop continues with its second case-study-specific session, organised by WNRI, dedicated to the Green Region Vestland in Norway.

Launched in 2021 by Vestland County's business forum, the Green Region Vestland (GRV) project represents a pioneering effort in Norway to translate national green transition goals into regional, business-oriented action.

On 24 June 2026, researchers and representatives of local companies joined an online meeting to explore how regional green initiatives can achieve greater impact at the regional, national and international levels.

During this meeting, ideas on how different stakeholders can collaborate to support the green transition in business were presented. Moreover, participants were invited to share their perspectives on this topic.

On 27 August, an in-person meeting will continue the previous discussions through a specific regional case related to energy production.
